A Better Change – Solaris Paper‘s “Brand New” Story

Solaris Paper® AFH (away-from-home) is a nearly 12 year-old paper towel and bath tissue company that has enjoyed significant business success over the past 4 years through diligent and strategic growth management initiatives, including some recent brand update efforts.
 
In late 2013, a new management team created and implemented a strategic plan designed to revitalize the business and it’s brand reputation over the coming 5 years. The company’s brand had suffered some setbacks in previous years, along with it’s Livi® branded products and the Nvi® dispensing line.
 
So a strategic rebranding initiative was born, partly out of necessity, but also due to a strong management group desire to build a progressive & positive business reputation in the away-form-home market. Much of this effort was done behind the scenes though internal process improvements, recruiting great team members, and creating excellent working relationships with key distributor partners.
 
But externally, Solaris Paper wanted their internal excitement and passion to be shared. So a working theme of “A Better Change” was created, and a rebranding effort was launched to bring a fresh and engaging perspective to their brands visually. And through aesthetic updates to not only their towel and tissue product system brands including Livi VPG Select®, Livi VPG®, and LoCor® dispensing systems – but also improving the actual product systems along the way. The old Nvi® dispensing system brand was laid to rest, along with the old actual dispensers! The entire dispensing system was completely redesigned and improved – and is now manufactured in the U.S.A. – as well as renamed to LoCor® Dispensing Systems.
